Gunna is a rapper from College Park, GA. He was introduced to Young Thug through friend and mentor Keith Troup, and subsequently signed to Thug’s Label YSL.
Gunna dropped his debut mixtape Drip Season in the autumn of 2016, with efforts Drip Season 2 and Drip or Drown following up in 2017. His most recent mixtape Drip Season 3 was released in early 2018 and peaked at 55 in the Billboard 200. Gunna is known for his melodic flows and remarkable work ethic.
Recently released was Lil Baby and Gunna’s debut collaborative album, which was announced after the great reception of their track “Sold Out Dates.” After that, “Drip Too Hard,” the album’s lead single, was officially released on September 12, 2018. It has so far peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 becoming the highest-charting song for both artists. The album has also peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 with 130,000 units moved it its first week.
Gunna's most recent project is titled "Drip Or Drown 2" and was released on February 22, 2019. Gunna is expected to drop his newest project "Wunna" sometime this year in 2020.
