Key Glock (Markeyvius Cathey) is a 19 year old rap artist from Memphis, Tennessee . He is the protégé of Young Dolph and is signed to Paper Route Empire.
What caught Young Dolph's attention was Key Glock's May 26, 2016 mix-tape titled Whole Lotta Errthang. The mixtape displayed Key Glock's effortless flow and impressive lyricism for his first real first mix-tape. The mix-tape featured Blac Youngsta, Fabo Gold and Kenny Muney.
On June 16, 2017 he released his debut mixtape Glock Season. The album recieved alot of local buzz within his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This lead to him being noticed by many local artists such as rapper Blocboy JB and local producer Tay Keith.
Following the success of his second mix-tape, Key Glock released his debut album titled Glock Bond. A couple days prior to the release of the album, Key Glock released a song from the album "Russian Cream" as a lead single which had great success.
After the great success of his debut album debuting just outside of the Top 100 on the Billboard 200. Key Glock released his "Who Run It Freestyle" and single "Orville Redenbacher" which also saw great success.
Key Glock released his most recent project "Yellow Tape" earlier this year on January 31, 2020. It is unclear when Key Glock's next project will be releasing.
